Hi! I’m Eden Hartwell.
I’m a songwriter, storyteller, and reflective writer trying to walk through life the same way many of us are - one day, one prayer, and one small act of grace at a time.
I write songs, stories, reflections, and scripture lessons for people who are still becoming. People who are healing. People who are questioning. People who are trying to hold onto faith through ordinary life and difficult seasons alike.
Much of what I create begins with a simple question that quietly follows me through Scripture and through life:
What did it feel like to stand there?
What did it feel like to wait?
To hope?
To grieve?
To trust God when the road ahead felt uncertain?

Notes from Ordinary Life
Some days creativity looks meaningful and beautiful.
Other days it looks like coffee gone cold beside an open Bible, unfinished notes scattered across the table, and trying to find steady ground in the middle of real life.
I don’t write from a place of having everything figured out.
I write from the middle of the journey.
From the place where faith and doubt sometimes sit in the same room.
From the quiet moments where God still meets us anyway.
My Bible is worn and marked with notes in the margins, reminders of prayers prayed, lessons learned slowly, and the mercy of Christ showing up again and again.
And honestly, that’s the heart behind everything here.
Not perfection.
Just a life that keeps returning to Him.

I live in Texas with my husband, and together we’ve built a life centered around faith, creativity, storytelling, and trying to notice the beauty God places in ordinary days.
I love quiet mornings, old books, gardens after it rains, winding paths, handwritten journals, and stories that leave room for tenderness and hope.
Many of the images, songs, and reflections you’ll find here are inspired by those small quiet moments that often matter more than we realize at the time.
